We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

11. Data Processing, Content Analysis & Hosting Location

MarkupGo is based in the United Kingdom, and our data operations are conducted through Cloudflare’s global network. All user-uploaded documents and media are stored securely using Cloudflare R2 object storage.

We do not retain, analyze, or manually review any document inputs or final compiled outputs for any purpose beyond providing the core service functionality requested by the user. Compiled outputs are not analyzed or processed for any secondary business, advertising, or AI training purposes.

The only exception is the use of automated NSFW (Not Safe For Work) classification, which is performed through a secure and non-human-involved process. This is implemented solely to ensure compliance with our content policies and protect platform integrity.

Third-party services such as analytics or user behavior tools (e.g., Microsoft Clarity) do not have access to user-generated content or uploaded documents. These tools are restricted to observing generic UI interaction patterns and cannot inspect or track document content, previews, or uploads.

If you prefer not to be tracked via Microsoft Clarity, you may use browser-level opt-out mechanisms such as ad blockers or Do Not Track settings.

Error logs and system events may be temporarily recorded for security and debugging purposes. These logs do not include document content and are automatically purged.
